White Screen Testfullscreen display utility

how it works

Use a clean color field before you blame the display.

A screen issue can be a dead pixel, dust, a reflection, uneven brightness or a browser zoom artifact. The safest first step is a plain, controlled color field.

Recommended sequence

  1. White: check dust, smudges, yellowing and brightness uniformity.
  2. Black: check backlight bleed, bright stuck pixels and edge glow.
  3. Red, green, blue: inspect sub-pixels that only fail on one channel.
  4. Gray: look for banding or uneven panel tint.
  5. Grid: confirm whether a small mark aligns with pixels or sits on the surface.

What to ignore for now

Do not judge a display from one color, one angle or a dusty screen. Reflections and browser UI can create false positives. If a defect matters, repeat the check after cleaning the panel and changing brightness.
