screen control

Start a fullscreen test

#FFFFFFCurrent screen color

Use a HEX color like #FFFFFF. Fullscreen depends on your browser permission.

Ready. Choose a preset or start the white screen.

Use more than one color

White can reveal dust and broad tint changes; black can make bright points and edge glow more visible. RGB fields isolate color channels, while gray helps compare tone across the panel.

Safe fullscreen behavior

The tool asks the browser to fullscreen a color layer. If permission is declined, the layer still fills the browser viewport. Press Esc, click Exit, or tap the open field to close it.

Observe, do not diagnose

A solid field helps you notice and reproduce an observation. Dust, reflections, scaling, viewing angle and panel technology can look like defects, so this browser tool does not diagnose hardware.

Run a quick display check

  1. Clean the powered-off panel with a suitable cloth, then return it to normal brightness.
  2. Check white and black from your usual viewing position.
  3. Inspect red, green, blue and gray without changing zoom or scaling midway.
  4. Repeat suspicious observations from another angle, then use the grid to locate the spot.
