about
A focused browser utility for clearer display observations.
White Screen Test provides uncluttered color fields for inspecting a monitor, laptop, tablet or phone without requiring an account or installing an app.
Why the tool exists
Busy wallpapers and application interfaces make a small mark hard to locate. This tool temporarily replaces that visual noise with white, black, primary colors, neutral gray, warm white or a custom color. A grid can add location cues, and the fullscreen layer has an obvious exit. The goal is a quick, repeatable observation—not a dramatic repair promise.
Who maintains it
White Screen Test is a Pink Banana Tools project maintained by Steve T. The public identity is intentionally limited to that name. The site does not present a laboratory, repair shop, certification service or display manufacturer.
Scope and limits
The page can help make dust, a fixed bright or dark point, tint variation, edge glow or banding easier to notice. Results still depend on panel technology, brightness, viewing angle, ambient light, browser scaling and device settings. It cannot measure luminance, calibrate color, repair pixels, inspect hardware remotely or decide a warranty claim. The display-check guide explains how to repeat an observation and reduce false positives.
Contact and problem reports
For accessibility problems, broken controls, inaccurate wording or privacy questions, contact Pink Banana Tools at hello@pink-banana.tools. Include the page, browser and device type plus the steps that led to the issue. A screenshot is optional; remove personal or sensitive information before sending anything.
Questions about a display’s safety, repair or warranty should go to its manufacturer or a qualified repair provider. The contact channel is for this website and tool behavior.
