FAQ
White screen test questions, answered plainly.
What is a white screen test?
It is a browser page that fills the display with a solid white color so you can inspect brightness, dust, smudges and some pixel issues.
Can it fix dead pixels?
No. It helps you notice and verify suspicious pixels. It does not repair hardware.
Why use black, red, green and blue too?
Different defects appear on different colors. Black is useful for bright stuck pixels and backlight bleed. RGB colors help isolate sub-pixel problems.
Is fullscreen required?
Fullscreen removes browser chrome from the test area. If the browser blocks fullscreen, the tool still opens a large test layer.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The tool does not ask for files and does not need an account. It only changes the color shown in your browser.
